Patriots vs. Seahawks: The Super Bowl Rematch Kicking Off 2026 and the 12s Are Already Losing It!

Alright 12s, you heard me right! Forget your Monday blues, because the NFL just dropped the 2026 schedule, and we are kicking off the entire darn season with a Super Bowl rematch right here in the Emerald City! Get ready for our Seahawks facing off against the Patriots, baby! This isn't just a game, it's a statement, and Lumen Field is gonna be absolutely rocking from the jump. The hype train is leaving the station already, and trust me, you do not want to be left behind.

Seahawks Schedule Has Us Hyped for Next Season

This isn't just *any* game, folks. It's a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, and it's kicking off the *entire 2026 NFL season*. Can you even imagine the energy in Lumen Field? Mike Macdonald and Brian Fleury are going to have our guys fired up for this. Think about it, Sam Darnold under center, slinging it to playmakers like Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and Cooper Kupp right from Week 1. This is the kind of high-stakes opener that tells the whole league we mean business. And get this, the league apparently agrees, because our Seahawks-Eagles matchup is also ranked among the best games on the entire 2026 NFL schedule. It’s clear the spotlight is going to be on Seattle next season, and frankly, it's about time.

Across the League: Phillies Pull Off Wild Comeback

While we're all buzzing about the incredible football news for our Hawks, there was some wild baseball action across the country last night. The Phillies somehow erased a massive 6-run deficit to down the Pirates in 10 innings. Talk about a heart-stopping game! Kyle Schwarber was absolutely dialed in, hitting his seventh homer in seven games. Can you believe that kind of streak? Then Bryce Harper stepped up in the 9th with a clutch double that tied the game. And to seal it in extras, Brandon Marsh and Rafael Marchan delivered the clutch hits that gave the Phillies their first lead of the game. That’s early season baseball drama for you, showing what makes this sport so great. Garrett Stubbs even nailed Oneil Cruz at second base, keeping that comeback alive.

What's Next for the Emerald City?

With this kind of NFL schedule news dropping in early May, it just makes the wait for the 2026 season even harder! But the anticipation is going to be insane. We’ve got so much to look forward to, getting ready to see our Hawks take the field with this kind of kickoff. And while we count down the days to that epic Patriots rematch, let's keep that same passion and energy for our Mariners, Kraken, and Sounders as they battle through their own early seasons right now. We're Seattle, we bleed green and blue, and we're ready for all of it!
