Seahawks Open 2026 Title Defense As Minor Favorites in Super Bowl Rematch and the 12s Are Absolutely Losing It

Alright, Seattle, listen UP! You hear that? That's the sound of Lumen Field getting ready to EXPLODE because the NFL schedule just dropped, and our Seahawks are kicking off the 2026 season with a BANG! We're talking about a Super Bowl LX rematch against the New England Patriots, and get this: our Hawks are opening as *minor favorites*! Can you even believe it? This isn't just any game, folks, this is our title defense starting right out of the gate, and the Emerald City is buzzing like a beehive!

Our Hawks Are Favored in the Ultimate Season Opener?!

Minor favorites, baby! That's what the early lines are saying for our season opener against the Patriots. Think about that for a second. We're defending champions, and the league is already setting us up for a statement game right off the bat. It’s a Super Bowl LX rematch, and you know New England is coming for revenge, but the odds are in *our* favor! This is huge, not just for the win, but for setting the tone for the entire season. We've got Mike Macdonald leading the charge, Brian Fleury cooking up plays, and our guys like Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and Cooper Kupp are going to be absolutely ELECTRIC. You think they aren't ready to show the league why we're champions? Please! This is just the beginning, and you know the 12s are going to bring the noise like never before.

Where's the Love for Our Other Seattle Squads?!

Okay, deep breaths, because while the Seahawks news has us absolutely hyped, where in the name of the Puget Sound are the updates for our Mariners, Kraken, and Sounders?! Seriously, I'm out here bleeding green and blue, watching every game I can, and my feed is silent on our boys. We got MLB updates about the White Sox moving above .500, the Dodgers splitting a series, and even the Blue Jays carrying walk-off momentum, but nothing on Cal Raleigh smashing dingers or Julio Rodriguez flying around center field? What's going on at T-Mobile Park? And our Kraken? No news on Matty Beniers tearing it up, Jordan Eberle leading the squad, or Joey Daccord stonewalling shots? The Golden Knights are out here eliminating teams, but we're left guessing about our own boys on the ice. Even the Sounders, with Cristian Roldan representing on the USMNT and Jordan Morris giving defenders nightmares, are quiet. It's early in the season, sure, but a fan needs their fix! We need to know what our guys are up to!

What's Next for the Emerald City?

So, what's next for us, Seattle? We keep that Seahawks hype train rolling, that's what! Get ready for a title defense that starts with a Super Bowl rematch at Lumen Field. It's going to be an absolute spectacle, and you know our boys are going to leave it all out on the field. As for our Mariners, Kraken, and Sounders, we're just going to have to keep our eyes peeled and our ears to the ground, waiting for that next big update. Hopefully, we get some killer news on our other teams soon. Until then, let's ride this Seahawks wave and get ready for one heck of a season! Go Hawks!
