Alright, 12s, hold onto your hats because the 2026 NFL schedule just dropped, and what a way to kick things off! Our Seattle Seahawks, the *defending Super Bowl LX champions*, are going to start their title defense with an absolute bang. Get this: we're opening the season with a Super Bowl LX rematch against none other than the New England Patriots! Yeah, you heard that right. The league clearly wants to see fireworks right out of the gate, and honestly, so do we. The early betting lines even have our Hawks listed as minor favorites for this monster opener. This is not just a game, folks, this is a statement, and it’s happening on day one!

Our Champs Are Rolling Up Their Sleeves For Round Two

Can you even believe it? The Super Bowl rematch is not a mid-season flex or a late-season showdown, it's the very first game! This immediately sets the tone for the entire 2026 season for our Seahawks. Being the defending champions already puts a massive target on our backs. Every team in the league wants to take down the champs, and now we get the team we just beat for the Lombardi Trophy coming straight for us. It’s an instant test, a gut check to see if that championship mentality is still sharp as ever. This isn't just about winning a game, it's about making it crystal clear to the entire NFL that last year was no fluke. We earned that Super Bowl title, and we're coming to defend it with everything we've got. The fact that we're even minor favorites speaks volumes about the respect our squad has earned.

Lumen Field Is About to Explode: Setting the Standard Early

You know what this means for Lumen Field, right? That place is going to be an absolute madhouse for opening weekend! The energy the 12s bring every single Sunday is unmatched, but for a Super Bowl rematch to kick off our title defense? Forget about it. It’s going to be historic. This isn't just about getting a win in Week 1, it's about laying down a marker for the rest of the league. It's about showing that our defense, under Coach Mike Macdonald, is still dominant, and our offense, with guys like Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and Cooper Kupp, is ready to light up the scoreboard. This early season matchup has all the ingredients of a classic and will be crucial in setting the rhythm for our championship campaign. We can't wait to see the boys out there. So, get ready, Seattle! The 2026 NFL season is going to be a wild ride, and it starts with the most anticipated Week 1 game in recent memory. Our Seahawks are defending their Super Bowl title, and they're doing it against the team they beat to get there. It’s going to be an incredible start to what we all hope is another championship season for our beloved Hawks. The 12s will be loud, proud, and absolutely ready.
