The Knicks Just Made NBA History and Nobody in New York Can Stop Smiling About It

The Knicks did something that has literally never happened before in NBA playoff history. They won three straight playoff games, each one by 25 or more points. Three blowouts. Back to back to back. This is the first time any team, in the entire history of the league, has pulled off that kind of dominant run in the postseason. And honestly? It's absolutely electric.

When the Games Actually Start, the Knicks Look Unstoppable

Here's the wild part: media talking heads have been all over Twitter explaining why the Knicks are going to lose the series. Every single time. But once the actual games tip off, some of the most beautiful basketball you've ever seen from this team just shows up on the court. Playoff Brunson is fully locked in. KAT is dropping dimes from everywhere. Bridges has remembered how to make buckets again. Josh Hart is doing all those little Josh Hart things that make him absolutely essential to what the Knicks are trying to do. And then there's OG. What if OG just became Kawhi 2.0 and this is simply who he is now? That would be incredible.

The Fourth Quarter Is Your New Favorite Place

Writing a blog in the fourth quarter when Pacome Dadiet and Tyler Kolek are running out the clock with a 30 point cushion for basically the entire final frame? That's a hell of a lot more fun than sweating buckets while the Knicks try to hold onto a tight lead and a new MSG villain emerges. You knew things were going to go well when the Prince of The Garden showed up for Game 1 with his girl doing the adult dress up thing at the Met Gala.

Cherish this feeling, Knicks fans. And pray it never ends.
