The Knicks Just Swept The Sixers Out Of The Playoffs and Nobody's Talking About Their Seventh Straight Win

It's officially over in Philadelphia. The New York Knicks completed a dominant sweep of the 76ers with a Game 4 rout, and in the process, extended their playoff winning streak to seven straight games. The Sixers' season came to an end on May 10, and the Knicks showed no mercy in MSG South.

A Sweep Nobody Saw Coming

Four games. That's all it took for the Knicks to dismantle the 76ers in the first round. Philadelphia had higher expectations coming into this series, but New York's performance has been nothing short of dominant. The sweep wasn't pretty for Sixers fans, and the way it unfolded leaves plenty of questions about what went wrong in the eastern conference playoffs.

The Knicks' ability to win consistently in the playoffs is the real story here. Seven straight playoff wins is the kind of momentum that can carry a team deep into June. When a team gets rolling like that, everyone else in the league has to take notice.

What's Next For Both Teams

The Knicks will advance further into the playoffs riding high with their seventh consecutive victory in postseason play. For Philadelphia, the offseason conversation will be intense. Joel Embiid remains optimistic about his health moving forward, and VJ Edgecombe's rookie season coming to an end has the organization excited about what he can bring in the future.

This sweep marks the end of the Sixers' season, but the Knicks' run is just getting started. With seven straight playoff wins under their belt, New York is proving they're one of the teams to beat in the Eastern Conference right now.
