Tyreek Hill's 5/5 Durability Score: Why No One Is Signing the Veteran WR

Okay, you guys know how some NFL players have wild hobbies, right? Joe Burrow hits the piano, Jake Ferguson's a sandwich connoisseur, Travis Hunter fishes, and Travis Kelce's podcast with brother Jason is massive. But get this, for a former Miami Dolphins wide receiver, the "Cheetah" himself, Tyreek Hill, has taken a shocking turn into DJing! Seriously, the dude is a full-blown DJ in Miami, and he's absolutely loving it. This ain't just a side gig either, folks. He's a free agent and, shockingly, no team has actually signed him yet. Wild.

From Gridiron to Turntables: The DJ Cheetah Emerges

Imagine being one of the most electric wideouts in the league, then suddenly you're spinning tracks. That's Tyreek Hill's life right now. Sports personality Dov Kleiman even dropped a 40-second video on X showing Hill announcing his new gig. He's been recovering from a nasty knee injury, one that tragically cut short his entire 2025 NFL season. But instead of just rehabbing, he fell head over heels for EDM music. The guy is 32 years old, meticulously crafting EDM, managing music and volume controls like he's been at it for years. It's almost like he might've played his last snap of football.

Injury Risk vs. Durability: The Numbers Don't Add Up

Here's where it gets confusing. The recovery timeline says Hill could be ready to roll midway through the 2026 season. Draft Sharks even pegs his durability score at a perfect 5 out of 5, which sounds super positive, right? But here's the kicker: they also project a 41 percent chance of injury for him in 2026, with a 3.1 percent chance per game, potentially missing 0.80 games. Despite that strong durability score, the big problem is that *no team* is reportedly showing interest in signing him. None! The Dolphins released him back in February, just days after Super Bowl LX. Since then, he's been linked to powerhouses from the Chiefs to the Chargers, Bills, Ravens, and even the Buccaneers. But every single rumor has amounted to nothing.

Can DJing Boost His Game Like Bijan Robinson?

Hill's not letting the free agency silence get him down. He's using this time to hone his DJ skills, and get this, it might actually help his football game! Think about it: DJing needs decision-making under pressure, rhythm, timing, multitasking, and even increased focus. These are all crucial on the gridiron. Remember Bijan Robinson? The Falcons running back also got into DJing in the 2024 offseason. The NFL's YouTube even showcased him learning! And what happened to Bijan in 2024? Mind-blowing numbers: 1,456 rushing yards, 15 total touchdowns, and 61 receptions for 431 receiving yards in 17 games. So, can we expect similar performance from Hill's 2026 chapter if he signs? Spotrac projects a two-year, $30 million deal, averaging $15 million annually. The big question remains: who is going to sign him? Will the Buccaneers, fresh off Mike Evans heading to the 49ers, finally make a move? This whole situation is wild, folks. A 32-year-old game-changer with a 5 out of 5 durability score is out there DJing, with no team knocking on his door. We've seen how hobbies can translate, just look at Bijan! The next few weeks are going to be critical to see if any team bites, or if the "Cheetah" truly has traded his cleats for turntables. Keep an eye out.
