Wemby's 33-Point Bomb Just Blew The West Finals Wide Open, And The East Is Still Snoozing

Alright, Seattle, if you're not locked into the NBA Playoffs right now, you are missing out on some ABSOLUTE FIRE in the Western Conference! While the East has been a bit of a snoozefest, with one team just steamrolling everyone, the West just delivered a Game 4 for the ages. The San Antonio Spurs came out swinging, totally dominating the Oklahoma City Thunder with a 103-82 victory, powered by a RIDICULOUS 33 points from Victor Wembanyama himself. That’s right, the series is now knotted up, and the drama is *real*.

The West Just Got Wild: Wembanyama Unleashes Chaos

You gotta love it when a team just decides to flip the switch, right? The Spurs absolutely showed up in Game 4, playing with a level of force, quickness, and a completely new disposition that just swallowed up the Thunder. Wembanyama wasn’t messing around, dropping 33 points and reminding everyone why he’s already one of the league's top dogs. It’s no shocker either, considering he just made the 2025-26 Kia All-NBA First Team alongside guys like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cade Cunningham, Luka Dončić, and Nikola Jokić. And get this: Wemby also led the Kia All-Defensive Teams with Chet Holmgren! The West, man, it just feels different. We're getting big shots, clutch play, defensive stands, and stars shining on both sides. SGA, by the way, snagged his second straight Kia MVP award, but even that wasn't enough to stop the Spurs' surge in Game 4.

Knicks Are Rolling, But Where's The Drama?

Meanwhile, over in the Eastern Conference, the New York Knicks are just doing their own thing, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. They rolled into Cleveland for Game 3 and kept that train moving, powered by Jalen Brunson’s fantastic 30 points and a red-hot Mikal Bridges adding 22. These guys are on a 10-game winning streak, people! Ten straight playoff Ws! It’s wild. They're now just one win away from making their first NBA Finals trip since way back in 1999. The pressure on the Cavaliers has gotta be immense. It’s efficient, it’s dominant, but honestly, where's the nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat action we're seeing out West? So, what’s next? The Knicks are heading into Game 4 with a chance to close out the series and book their ticket to the Finals. Can they complete the sweep and avoid any last-minute drama? And will the Thunder respond to the Spurs' Game 4 dominance and reclaim the series lead, or are we in for a long, grinding battle out West? This playoff action is heating up, and you definitely don't want to miss what happens next.
