CBS Sports Covers Everything, But Are They Missing the Heartbeat of the Emerald City?
Alright, 12s, pull up a stool! We’re all hitting up the big sports sites for our daily fix, right? You want to know what’s going down in the world of sports, and CBS Sports promises a ton. They’ve got NFL, MLB, NHL, soccer, even a headline about Ecuador vs. Curacao in a World Cup Group Stage prediction for June 20, 2026. That’s a lot of action, but as fans bleeding green and blue, what are we really looking for?
All The Sports In The World, No Seattle Deep Dive
You can scroll through their offerings and see everything: NBA, Golf, UFC, WNBA, NASCAR, even college sports like NCAA FB and BB. They’ve got sections for podcasts, prize predictions, and shops. It’s a huge, sprawling world of sports content out there. And hey, they’re upfront about it too, saying their content is for “entertainment purposes only” and they make “no representation or warranty as to the accuracy of the information given or the outcome of any game or event.” Odds and lines can change, and they even state “there is no gambling offered on this site.” They’re transparent about their commercial content and compensation for links, with images from Getty Images and Imagn. All very official, very broad. But where’s the fire for our Mariners? Where’s the urgency for our Seahawks?

Our Teams Are Playing, And We’re Here For It
See, while the big sites are casting a wide net, we’re locked in on the Emerald City. It’s April, the MLB regular season is in full swing, and our Mariners are out there grinding. We’re watching every swing from Julio Rodriguez, every pitch from the mound, every play Cal Raleigh makes behind the plate. And over at Lumen Field, our Seahawks are deep into their early season work, with Sam Darnold under center, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Rashid Shaheed making plays, and Cooper Kupp bringing that veteran presence. Coach Mike Macdonald and OC Brian Fleury are shaping this squad, and we know it’s a crucial time to set the tone. It’s not just about broad strokes for us; it’s about the specific battles our teams are fighting right now.
So, while the wider sports world is busy with everything else under the sun, we’re right here, focused on what matters most to us. We’re keeping our eyes peeled for every early trend, every standout performance from our guys. That’s what Seattle On Tap is all about. You know we’ll have the real talk on our Mariners, Seahawks, Kraken, and Sounders. Let’s go, Seattle!
