Joe Burrow Back in Cincinnati and the Bengals Offense Line Chemistry Is Already Clicking

Joe Burrow showed up to work Thursday, May 7, 2026, and suddenly the Bengals' offseason hit a different gear. The QB returned as Phase One of Offseason Workouts kicked into gear at Paycor Stadium, and what you're seeing on the field right now is something Burrow hasn't had in years: the most intact offensive line of his career.

The O-Line Bonding Moment Nobody Saw Coming

Center Ted Karras brought a Patriots tradition with him to Cincinnati, and it's become the glue holding this unit together. The team ran what Karras calls the "Credit Card Roulette" gag, a bonding ritual that's apparently worked wonders for the best offensive line Burrow has ever had around him. These guys aren't just working through drills together. They're building real chemistry, the kind that shows up on third-and-long when the pocket needs to hold.

The message from the linemen is simple and clear: "Now We Have To Go Make It Happen." That's not hype. That's accountability.

Offseason Momentum Building Fast

Players continued Phase One workouts throughout the week, with Dalton Risner, Jalen Davis, and Dax Hill all meeting with the media in locker room interviews. The front office is already looking ahead, too. The Bengals are eyeing cap flexibility and working toward a long-term deal with Myles Murphy. The 2026 draft class has been assigned jersey numbers, and the organization is building something intentional here.

This is the kind of quiet, methodical spring work that separates contenders from pretenders. Burrow's back, the line is intact, and Cincinnati is moving forward with purpose heading into the season.
