The Details That Make These Uniforms Stand Out

These aren't just any all-black look. Ohio State added gray sleeve stripes to the design, a detail that honors the program's tradition while giving the uniforms a modern edge. The athletic department dropped 40 new photos Monday showing off the updated jerseys from every conceivable angle, and you can see why people couldn't stop talking about them. The fine details matter here. This is a uniform that respects where Ohio State comes from while moving the look forward.

The Big 12 Couldn't Keep Quiet

What's Next for the Buckeyes

While the uniform conversation is dominating the offseason chatter, Ohio State has actual football to focus on. Meanwhile, Ohio State versus Michigan is officially scheduled for a noon kickoff on FOX. The Buckeyes will have plenty of opportunities to debut these new threads when it counts, and based on the early reaction, they'll look sharp doing it.
