Tundra, Xtreme, BetBoom Just Refused to Quit, And $1 Million Is Still on the Line!

Holy smokes, what a Wednesday! The action in DreamLeague Season 29 is absolutely bonkers, and three teams just said, "Nah, we're not going home yet!" Tundra Esports, Xtreme Gaming, and BetBoom Team clawed their way out of the lower bracket elimination games, keeping their dreams alive for that massive $1 million prize pool. This isn't just a tournament, folks, this is a full-blown battle for a quarter of a million bucks going to the champs alone!

Lower Bracket Brawls: Tundra and Xtreme Go Off!

Talk about a comeback! Tundra Esports got absolutely rocked in their upper-bracket quarterfinal, but they didn't let that keep them down. They stormed back against Virtus.pro with a 2-1 win. Yeah, they dropped the first map in 44 minutes, but then they flipped the switch, grabbing 35-minute and 40-minute victories to send Virtus.pro packing. Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov from Bulgaria was an absolute beast for Tundra, racking up a ridiculous 26-9-29 kill-death-assist ratio. Seriously, what a performance!

Then you had Xtreme Gaming, who started their playoff run already in the lower bracket after finishing sixth in Group B. They didn't miss a beat, though, taking down Team Liquid 2-1. Xtreme kicked things off with a 44-minute triumph. Liquid fired back with a 36-minute win, but Xtreme closed it out in a marathon 75-minute decisive map. Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang, hailing from Malaysia, was the driving force for Xtreme, finishing with an insane 31-12-40 K-D-A ratio. Just pure grit from these squads!

BetBoom Stands Tall and What's Next for the Cash!

Not to be outdone, BetBoom Team, fresh off a loss on Tuesday, came out swinging and put away Vici Gaming with a 2-1 victory of their own. They secured their first win in 56 minutes, then sealed the deal in 46 minutes on the decisive map. Russian Danil "gpk" Skutin led the charge for BetBoom, posting a fantastic 29-14-39 K-D-A ratio. These guys are fighting for every single dollar!

Sixteen teams kicked off this beast of a Dota 2 tournament back on May 13. The double-elimination playoffs began on Tuesday, and every match is a best-of-three showdown until we hit the best-of-five grand final on Sunday. The winning team isn't just getting $250,000 in player prize money, there's also a $40,000 club bonus and a minimum of 6,000 ESL Pro Tour points up for grabs. That second-place team isn't doing too bad either, with $100,000 for players and $30,000 for the club.

The intensity just keeps building! Today, Thursday, we've got Natus Vincere battling PlayTime in the final lower-bracket opener. Plus, the upper-bracket semifinals are going down with Team Falcons taking on PARIVISION, and Team Spirit clashing with Aurora Gaming. You know every one of these teams is eyeing that grand final on Sunday. Who's gonna make it all the way to grab that massive haul? We'll be watching every single minute, because this is what true competition is all about!
