YouTube TV Finally Killed Every Restriction on Multiview and Seattle Sports Fans Can Actually Breathe
Remember when YouTube TV kept teasing us with multiview, then yanking it back like they were holding candy just out of reach? Yeah, those days are officially over. YouTube TV finally, FINALLY dropped all the restrictions and let you build your own custom multiview setup without a single limitation in sight. No preselected games. No sport boundaries. No "sorry, you can't mix that." Just... everything.
Multiview Without the Headaches
Look, we've been down this road before. YouTube TV announced multiview was coming. Great, right? Nope, turns out it came preselected, which is basically useless if you want to actually choose what you watch. Then there were restrictions on mixing different sports. Then on and on it went, each update feeling like they were getting closer to the promise but never quite delivering.

Want to catch a Seahawks game while keeping an eye on the Mariners, a golf tournament, and a movie with the sound on? Done. No restrictions. None. You want to have one stream you're casually paying attention to while you flip between news and live TV? Go for it. The tech team actually delivered on what should have been standard three years ago.
This Changes How You Actually Watch
Think about it: this solves the eternal problem of being a couple on the couch at night with too many things you want to watch and not enough screens. And for the serious sports nerd in the basement tracking every stat line and game situation? This is the dream. You can monitor whatever you want, whenever you want.
It's 2026. You should be able to customize your multiview however you want. Period. That's not a luxury feature anymore, that's table stakes for a streaming service that actually gets how fans consume sports.
