Depsite the Seattle Mariners struggling to put together a string of solid seasons, and never making a World Series... They do always find a way to have talented players on their teams. The 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame Ballot has SIX players that once played for the Seattle Mariners:
- Ichiro Suzuki (14 Mariners seasons)
- Felix Hernandez (15 Mariners seasons)
- Adam Jones (2 Mariners seasons)
- Fernando Rodney (2 Mariners seasons)
- Alex Rodriguez (7 Mariners seasons)
- Omar Vizquel (5 Mariners seasons)

Who is getting in? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/JcvXR8QxMG
Ichiro Suzuki is easily expected to be the highest voted player to get in this year, and will possibly become the 2nd unamimous player ever voted in (100% votes). Mariano Rivera is the only player to ever get that nod in baseball HOF history.
In 2016, Seattle Mariners legend Ken Griffey Jr. ALMOST got 100% votes, and it's still a shame he did not... Vote total: 99.3% (437/440).
Félix Hernández, who during his peak was on a clear path to Cooperstown but whose precipitous decline makes his case far more complicated. It would be a great moment to see Felix make it in with Ichiro though.
They’ll look to join just seven former Mariners players to be elected: Beltré (2024), Edgar Martinez (2019), Ken Griffey Jr. (2016), Randy Johnson (2015), Rickey Henderson (2009), Goose Gossage (2008) and Gaylord Perry (1991).
