79% of the Vote: Greta Platts and Wyatt Ramus Dominated Like Nobody Else

Phew, alright Seattle, deep breaths! We gotta talk about some absolutely electric performances that just dropped, and trust me, you *need* to hear about these two. Forget the usual buzz for a second, because Greta Platts and Wyatt Ramus just absolutely *ran away* with the Athlete of the Week honors, pulling in numbers that'll make your jaw hit the floor. We're talking pure, unadulterated athletic brilliance, the kind that makes you want to cheer so loud they can hear it all the way out here in the Emerald City, from T-Mobile to Lumen. These two didn't just win, they *dominated* the vote, and their game stats? Even crazier.

Greta Platts: Taking Soccer to State, One Assist at a Time

Man, oh man, where do you even start with Greta Platts? This Gilbert girls soccer phenom just scored a whopping 79% of the vote for Female Athlete of the Week, and when you look at her week, you totally get why. We’re talking next-level stuff, the kind of playmaking that would make any coach, anywhere, sit up and take notice. She was an absolute force for her 2A No. 5 Gilbert squad, pushing them through two massive regional wins with sheer grit and determination. First up, a gritty 2-0 regional semifinal victory against Nevada on June 2. Platts was in the thick of it, netting a crucial goal herself to get things started. But then, on June 5, in the regional final against Bondurant-Farrar? She went full assist mode, dishing out *three* dimes, setting up every single Tiger goal in their dominant 3-1 win. Yeah, you read that right: three assists, sending her team straight to state! That's the kind of clutch performance that gives you chills down your spine, the kind of leader Seattle fans dream of. We absolutely love seeing that kind of vision and playmaking on the pitch.

Wyatt Ramus: A Pitcher's Masterclass, All By Himself

And then we’ve got Wyatt Ramus, who just threw a masterclass on the mound that had everyone talking. This dude grabbed 71% of the vote for Male Athlete of the Week, and frankly, he probably deserved more, considering the absolute clinic he put on! Pitching for the undefeated Roland-Story baseball team, Ramus straight up shoved during their 10-0 shutout victory over Greene County on June 1. We're talking *complete game* territory, folks. He went all six innings, dealing out a mind-blowing one-hitter. A ONE-HITTER! Think about that surgical precision, that laser focus, that sheer will to dominate every single at-bat. He racked up nine strikeouts, walked only two batters, and delivered a brilliant shutout win for his team. That’s the kind of lights-out performance that makes you wonder what’s in the water, or what secret sauce these athletes are cooking up. Just pure pitching poetry, absolutely painting the corners and leaving hitters bewildered and swinging at air. Unhittable, truly. So, what's next for these two rising stars? With Greta Platts sending her team to state, you know the stakes are sky-high, and every game is gonna be absolutely electric. Can she keep up that insane assist rate and lead them all the way? And for Wyatt Ramus and his undefeated squad, they're on a roll, carrying that dominant momentum forward, proving every single time they step onto the field that they're a force to be reckoned with. They've already shown they can deliver under pressure, and we're buzzing to see what they do next. Keep an eye on these names, Seattle. That kind of talent, raw dominance, and heart is what makes sports so damn fun to watch, no matter where you find it!
