Alex Cora's Email to Boston Shows What Really Matters When You're Out

Even though he's not managing the Red Sox anymore, Alex Cora still cares enough to send them a message. On Wednesday, he fired off an email to the organization expressing his confidence in the team's future. Mass Live got their hands on a copy, and it tells you everything about a guy who built something real in Boston before things fell apart.

A Coach's Gratitude From the Outside

Cora's email wasn't some bitter farewell or a "told you so" note. Nope. He sent it to express thanks to the organization and make it crystal clear: he still believes in what the Red Sox can become. That's the kind of thing you do when you genuinely care about a place, even when the relationship doesn't work out the way either side hoped.

What This Actually Means

Look, coaching changes happen. Teams move on. But when a guy like Cora takes the time to write something like this and it gets out to the public, it speaks volumes. He's not taking shots. He's not playing the victim. He's just saying he's thankful and he's got faith in where Boston's headed.

That's respect. That's professionalism. And honestly, in a game where egos clash and doors slam pretty hard when things don't work out, it stands out.
