Ben Rice's 3-Run Bomb Carries Will Warren as Yankees Cruise Past Orioles 7-2

The Yankees came out swinging Thursday night and made quick work of Baltimore, blasting their way to a 7-2 win behind a dominant performance from Will Warren on the mound. It was the kind of game that feels easy when everything clicks: solid pitching, timely hitting, and enough run support to put the game out of reach early. That's exactly what New York got.

Rice Delivers the Knockout Punch

Ben Rice was the star of the show at the plate, launching a three-run home run that gave the Yankees some crucial cushion in the game. One swing and the Orioles suddenly had a mountain to climb. Rice's blast was the kind of moment that can shift momentum fast, and it's exactly the kind of production the Yankees need if they're going to stay hot.

Warren Keeps It Rolling

Will Warren took the mound for New York and delivered a quality start, keeping the Orioles offense in check throughout his outing. With run support like that, Warren didn't need to be perfect. He just needed to be solid, and that's what he was. The combination of Warren pitching effectively and the bats showing up early made this one feel like a wire-to-wire victory rather than a nail-biter.

The Yankees are clicking right now. Rice and Warren led the charge Thursday night, but this kind of balanced attack, where pitching holds up and the lineup capitalizes on its chances, is exactly what wins ballgames in May and beyond.
