Bobby McMann Just Became Exactly What The Kraken Needed At The Deadline
Seven goals in eight games. Let that sink in for a second. Bobby McMann has been absolutely on fire since the trade deadline, and suddenly Seattle's offense looks a whole lot more dangerous heading down the stretch. The Kraken are hanging around just below the Western Conference playoff cutoff, and having a guy who can actually put the puck in the net? That changes everything.
The Trade Deadline Magic Actually Worked
Once the paperwork went through, McMann looked like exactly the kind of trade deadline pickup that can turn a season around. This wasn't some mid-tier depth piece. The dude came in and immediately made an impact for a low-scoring Kraken team that desperately needed someone to step up and finish. Seven goals in his first eight games is the kind of first impression that gets fans talking, and it's the kind of production that could be huge if Seattle wants to climb back into a playoff spot.
Timing Is Everything
With the playoff race tightening up and every point suddenly worth its weight in gold, having a forward who can consistently finish in the Western Conference is clutch. The Kraken have been treading water right on the edge of postseason positioning, and McMann's instant chemistry with the team could be the spark that pushes them over the hump down the final stretch. The low-scoring offense that had been a problem earlier in the season suddenly has a guy who knows where the back of the net is.
Next game matters more than ever. Every win counts now, and if McMann keeps scoring at this clip, Seattle might actually make some real noise come playoff time.
