Braves Just Erased a 6-Run Deficit and Won on a Late Homer: Rockies Couldn't Close It Out

The Atlanta Braves did what looked impossible on Thursday night, storming back from six runs down to stun the Colorado Rockies with a late home run. That's the kind of win that changes momentum fast, and Walt Weiss's crew is heading back to face Colorado again with confidence coursing through the clubhouse.

From Buried to Breathing: How the Braves Clawed Back

The Rockies had the game in their grip. They built a six-run lead and looked ready to run away with it. Then Atlanta woke up. The bats came alive, the runs started flowing, and suddenly what felt like a done deal turned into a genuine fight. A late home run sealed it, gave the Braves the walk-off win, and left Colorado wondering how it slipped away.

What's Next for Both Squads

Weiss and the Braves are riding high now and coming right back at the Rockies. That's baseball in May: you can go from feeling in control to looking for answers in one bad inning. Colorado has to shake off the sting of that loss, tighten up that lead they let slip, and get ready for the next one.

Games like this are why you keep playing, why one loss doesn't define your season, and why a team that can come back from six down has something brewing. The Braves have the momentum now, and they're bringing it back to face the Rockies again.
