The Seattle Mariners are known to have the best starting rotation in all of baseball. It's been a historically good group of starting pitchers. Every single pitcher has been really good this year. Luis Castillo, George Kirby, Logan Gilbert, Bryce Miller, and surprisingly, the best one of them all has been Bryan Woo.
Bryan Woo missed some time early in the season, and was put on an innings restriction when he came back, but regardless, he was dominant through it all. His domination has continued throughout the entire year.
Bryan Woo's 2.38 ERA in 19 starts this season is the 5th-best in Seattle Mariners history (min. 100 IP), trailing only Félix Hernández (2.14 ERA in 2014; 2.27 ERA in 2010), Randy Johnson (2.28 ERA in 1997) & Cliff Lee (2.34 ERA in 2010).
We are talking about Cy Young winning pitchers, all three guys he joined on this list have been a Cy Young Award winner in their respective careers. That is elite company to be in.
On top of this all, in his last start on September 11th, he went 7 PERFECT innings, and was dominating the San Diego Padres. He has been lights out.

"His ball was rising on a level I haven’t seen much. The guy has really good stuff. He was pounding the zone. His fastball was really alive and he was making good pitches all the way from the beginning."
We must also add, he did this the other night with one of the best cleat collaborations we've ever seen.
Ric Flair WOO cleats.... How perfect.
