Bryson Tiller Just Posted His New Jersey Online and Kansas Fans Are Losing It
Well, this is the kind of move that gets Kansas fans actually heated. Bryson Tiller, the 6-foot-11 freshman big man who just finished his first year with the Jayhawks, announced Tuesday via Instagram that he's transferring to Missouri. Yeah, that Missouri. The bitter rival. And he posted a picture of himself in a Tigers uniform to make it crystal clear.
How This Went Down
Tiller visited Missouri on Sunday before committing to the Tigers. The move came quick, actually. He canceled a planned trip to Arizona, which tells you he made his decision fast and wasn't looking back. This wasn't some drawn-out recruitment saga. The guy went to Columbia, liked what he saw, and went public with it the next day.

Last season as a freshman, Tiller put up 7.9 points and 6.1 rebounds per game across 35 contests, starting in 31 of them. He also averaged 1.3 blocks a night. For a freshman? That's solid production. The bigger issue for Kansas is the timing. The Jayhawks already took a massive hit when star big man Flory Bidunga transferred to Louisville. Now they're watching another promising forward walk out the door and straight into enemy territory.
Tiller had options too. Georgia Tech, Miami, Michigan, and North Carolina State all had interest in him. But he picked the one school that will make every Kansas fan's blood boil every time these two teams meet.
What's Next
The portal moves keep happening, and this one stings because of who landed him. Missouri just added a young, athletic 6-foot-11 forward who can block shots and board the ball. Kansas just got a little bit lighter in the frontcourt heading into next season.
