Cal Raleigh Out Late: What It Means for Seattle's Lineup Tonight
Cal Raleigh hit the bench late Friday night, and suddenly the Mariners had to scramble their lineup just before first pitch. The All-Star catcher was scratched from the game against Kansas City in a move that came down to the wire, leaving fans wondering what was going on with one of Seattle's most important players.
The Late Scratch Shakes Up T-Mobile Park
Getting pulled from the lineup this close to game time is never ideal. Raleigh is the heart of this team behind the plate, and when he's suddenly unavailable, it forces the entire offensive gameplan to shift. The Mariners had to adjust their roster on the fly, which isn't how you want to be preparing for a division opponent.

The Mariners dropped this one to Kansas City by a run, 7-6, so the timing of the scratch stings even more. Seattle needs answers on whether this is a health issue that'll linger or just a precaution before a crucial stretch. Raleigh's presence in the lineup matters, especially this early in the season when every win counts and every game shapes how the rest of the year unfolds. The team will be hoping to get him back and healthy as the schedule ramps up.
