Caufield Hits 48, 49 and Montreal Won't Stop: Canadiens Make it Seven Straight

Cole Caufield did what Cole Caufield does. He scored two goals, pushing his season total to 49, and the Montreal Canadiens kept rolling with their seventh consecutive win, edging the New York Rangers on April 3rd. This team is humming right now, and Caufield is leading the charge toward that 50-goal mark.

Caufield's Hot Hand Keeps Montreal Climbing

The Canadiens are in that sweet spot of the season where everything feels possible. Caufield's 48th and 49th goals of the year show he is chasing down a milestone season, and Montreal is feeding off that momentum. Seven straight wins is not a fluke. This is a team playing the kind of hockey that matters down the stretch, and their star winger is doing exactly what you need your best players to do when it counts.

The Win Machine Rolls On

A road win against the Rangers is no small thing. New York is a tough out at Madison Square Garden, but the Canadiens found a way. Montreal is building something real here, and Caufield is the heartbeat of it. When your top scorer is in this kind of form and your team is stringing together wins like this, you have to like where things are headed.

The Canadiens' run continues to pick up steam as we move deeper into the season. Watch Caufield closely, especially as he hunts for that 50th goal. Montreal has given the league notice that they are not just hanging around, they are a legitimate threat.
