Dana Beers Lost His Head Over the Celtics, and Friday's Wake Up Barstool Episode Is the Proof

Here's what went down on May 8, 2026: Dana Beers made a bet. The Celtics were supposed to beat the 76ers. Spoiler alert: they didn't. And now, on this special Friday edition of Wake Up Barstool, Dana's got to shave his head on live television.

T-Bob, Mike Katic, Meagan Makin' Money, and Dana are all in studio for what turned into one wild ride through the NBA Playoffs. The crew didn't waste any time diving into the postseason action, breaking down the biggest storylines as the tournament heats up. But the real energy? Watching Dana face the consequences of being wrong about the Celtics.

The Full Lineup: New Segments, Draft Talk, and the Money Corner

This episode packed a lot in. The team introduced a fresh segment called "WUB at the Club" that adds another layer to their coverage. Meagan brought her Money Corner back to break down the financial side of what's happening in sports right now. And Dana stepped up with his top NBA Draft prospects, giving you the names you need to know heading into the offseason.

They also got into something that's going to reshape college basketball: the NCAA tournament is expanding to 76 teams. That's a massive shift, and the crew didn't shy away from breaking down what it means for the sport.

Smash or Pass, Audience Questions, and a Friday Vibe

Between the serious playoff talk and draft analysis, the team kept things loose. They played Smash or Pass to keep the energy up, and stuck around to answer questions coming straight from the audience. That's the Wake Up Barstool formula: unfiltered takes, no apologies, and real conversation about what matters in sports right now.

If you haven't caught this one yet, you know what you're clicking on tonight. Dana's about to get that head shaved, and the Celtics are the reason why.
