Day 2 Chaos: Vikings Move Greenard to Eagles for $100M, and the Trade Frenzy Keeps Rolling

The 2026 NFL Draft just hit another gear. Minnesota shipped out defensive end Greenard to Philadelphia, and the Eagles handed him a massive $100 million deal in return. That's the kind of blockbuster that sets the tone for the rest of the draft, and teams are scrambling to keep up.

The Trades Keep Coming

This isn't just one move. The draft floor is moving fast. Dallas grabbed linebacker Winters from San Francisco in exchange for a fifth-round pick. Arizona made their QB move, selecting Miami's Carson Beck in the third round. The Cowboys also picked up linebacker Caleb Downs in Round 1. Meanwhile, the Steelers took Penn State quarterback Drew Allar in Round 3 with Aaron Rodgers' future still up in the air. The Rams went all in at quarterback too, selecting Ty Simpson with the 13th overall pick in Round 1.

Round 2 and Beyond Are a Wild Ride

Round 2 had its own flavor. Atlanta went with family business, taking Avieon Terrell, the brother of star cornerback A.J. Terrell. The Jets picked David Bailey with the second overall pick. The Eagles grabbed Makai Lemon with the 20th pick. The Giants landed both Arvell Reese and Francis Mauigoa in Round 1 and were elated about it. And the Chiefs? They came away with two first-round picks, which tells you they're built for moves.

This draft is moving fast, and teams that aren't paying attention are getting left behind. With Rounds 2 and 3 in the books and 13 teams already earning A grades for their hauls, the question now is simple: who capitalized on the chaos, and who's still scrambling to find answers?
