Dude Perfect Copied Lil Sas' Viral NFL Draft Sketch Word For Word, and Nobody's Even Mad About It

Look, we all know online content is basically a remix machine at this point. Ten memes get recycled infinitely, trending accounts steal jokes and repackage them daily. It happens. But what Dude Perfect just pulled off? That was different. That was bold.

Lil Sas dropped a sketch that went absolutely viral. Sketch comedy. Original concept. The whole deal. Then Dude Perfect, a company known for trick shots and content aimed at kids, somehow decided to make an almost identical version. Word for word. Bar for bar. No changes, no twist, no acknowledgment.

They Were So Close to Getting Away With It

Here's the wild part: Dude Perfect could have pulled this off. Seriously. But they missed one crucial detail. One line. The original sketch had an off-camera character, a friend in the background, drop a specific phrase that anchored the entire bit. "How are you gonna pay rent?" That line was everything. It was the connective tissue that made the sketch work.

Dude Perfect forgot it. Left it out entirely. And suddenly, their near-perfect copy became impossible to ignore. Without that one line, the whole thing just sits there as a bizarre, frame-for-frame recreation of someone else's viral moment. Not a tribute. Not a homage. Just a copy.

The Internet Probably Won't Even Notice

Here's what's actually wild: most people won't catch this. The people scrolling through Twitter will see the Dude Perfect version and think it's original. Twitter's a tiny corner of the internet. Shockingly small number of people even use it regularly. So by the time this blows over, the Dude Perfect sketch will just be the sketch. Mission accomplished, I guess.

Congrats on the viral success, Dudes. You earned it. Sort of.
