Dude Perfect Copied Lil Sas' Viral Sketch Word For Word and Nobody's Even Mad About It

Look, we all know the internet is just recycled memes and joke formats getting repackaged every single day. But what Dude Perfect just did? That was something else entirely. They straight up copied Lil Sas' NFL Draft sketch, bar for bar, and the wildest part is nobody even knows what happened because barely anyone actually uses Twitter.

The Copy Was Too Perfect

Here's the thing about Dude Perfect: I didn't even know they did sketch comedy. I thought these dudes were strictly a trick shot company making content for kids. You can't exactly steal someone's three-pointer from a water tower, right? But apparently they found a way to venture into sketch territory, and when they did, they basically photocopied Sas' viral bit without breaking a sweat.

The near-perfect recreation is actually wild. They nailed the structure, they nailed the setup, they nailed the delivery. The only problem? They forgot the most important line from the original. You know the one. The moment where the off-camera friend drops that crucial "How are you gonna pay rent?" That line is the whole sketch. That's the punchline that makes it work. Without it, without Doogs' background character, it's just a bizarre copy that isn't fooling anyone who actually saw the original.

Which Is Basically Nobody

Here's where it gets wild: Dude Perfect probably could have gotten away with this. But only because almost nobody is on Twitter anymore. Think about it. The amount of people who actively use Twitter is shockingly small. So while we're all sitting here knowing this is a straight-up bite, the rest of the internet probably thinks Dude Perfect invented this sketch. It becomes their sketch now. That's the play.

Congrats on all the success, Dudes. You played the long game and won.
