Four-Star QB Wonderful Monds IV Picks Notre Dame Over Florida State and Ohio State
Four-star quarterback prospect Wonderful Monds IV just announced his college commitment, and he's headed to Notre Dame. The Vero Beach, Florida native made his decision public Friday afternoon on ESPN's Pat McAfee Show, turning down offers from Florida State and Ohio State to join the Fighting Irish.
A Loaded Decision for a Top Prospect
Monds had some serious options on the table. Florida State and Ohio State both made their pitches, but Notre Dame won out. For a four-star prospect at the quarterback position, this kind of decision carries weight. Landing a top-tier signal caller in the 2027 class is huge for any program, and the Irish secured a commitment that other blue-bloods wanted.

The 2027 class is still developing, and Monds figures to be a name to watch as we move toward the next recruiting cycle. His decision to commit this early shows confidence in his choice and in the direction of the Notre Dame program. The Fighting Irish have their quarterback of the future locked in.
