Full List Of The Seattle Mariners Transactions In The Past 24 Hours...

The Seattle Mariners have been awfully quiet the entire offseason, choosing to not make any significant moves.... The past 24 hours have been no different, with some small exceptions.

The Mariners did add two arms, one on Wednesday and one on Thursday, and they have also signed all their arbitration-eligible players with some big names coming at a better value than many expected. Logan Gilbert and George Kirby especially were at a lower price than their projections, which is great value for the Mariners.

The Mariners claimed RHP Hagen Danner off waivers from the Blue Jays, bringing their 40-man roster to 39 players on Wednesday. Today, LHP Tyler Jay was claimed off waivers from the Brewers and added to the 40-man roster, which is now at capacity.

Then came all the arbitration moves for the Mariners, there are a few numbers missing but these are the numbers that are out now:

  • Randy Arozarena ($11.3M)
  • Logan Gilbert ($7.625M)
  • Cal Raleigh ($5.6M)
  • George Kirby ($4.3M)
  • Trent Thornton ($2M)

The Mariners also came to a number with Taylor Saucedo and Gabe Speier, these numbers have not been reported yet.

Many believe some of these numbers, especially for Logan Gilbert and George Kirby, seem low. It's surprising that none of these went to arbitrations, but thats good news for the Mariners, and us, the fans.
