His eldest daughter, Bobby-Jo Williams Ferrell, was born in 1948 from his first marriage to Doris Soule. She later became involved in the legal aspects of his estate, particularly concerning the controversial decision surrounding his cryogenic preservation, reflecting a different perspective within the family dynamic.

From his second marriage to Dolores Wettach, Ted had two more children: son John-Henry Williams, born in 1968, and daughter Claudia Williams, born in 1969. These two were significantly younger than their father and grew up with a close involvement in his later life and career. John-Henry, especially, became a prominent figure by his father's side, dedicated to managing his legacy. He was a key proponent of Ted Williams's decision to be cryogenically preserved after his passing in 2002. Tragically, John-Henry himself passed away from leukemia in 2004.
Claudia Williams, Ted's youngest, has since taken a significant role in preserving her father's memory and ensuring his place in baseball history. Although initially opposed to the cryogenic decision, she eventually supported the family's united front. Today, she continues to honor the "Thumper" by sharing his story and achievements, ensuring the legend of Ted Williams continues to inspire new generations of fans.
