Jordan Morris Is Heating Up and the Sounders Are Flying Out of the Gates in 2026
The Sounders are off to a hot start this season, and Jordan Morris just opened his 2026 account in style. The winger found the back of the net against FC Dallas on April 25, and it earned him a spot on the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 10. This is the kind of early-season form that gets the Rave Green faithful on their feet at Lumen Field.
Morris Delivering When It Counts
Morris struck from inside the box to get on the board this season, and the goal helped push Seattle to a 2-1 home win over Dallas. That kind of clinical finishing is exactly what the Sounders need if they're going to keep this momentum rolling through the spring and into the summer. The fact that he's already making an impact at this point in the year sets a strong tone for what's ahead.

This isn't just about Morris, either. Look at what happened when Seattle faced St. Louis City SC on April 18. The Sounders were everywhere, with Cristian Roldan bagging a brace with a first-time finish. Roldan opened the scoring, then added another goal later in the match. Jesus Ferreira chipped in with a deflected shot to give Seattle the opening lead, and Albert Rusnak added a third from the spot. Osaze De Rosario also got in on the action with a crafty finish from inside the box. That's the kind of balanced attack that makes teams dangerous.
What's Next for Seattle
The Sounders have moved up to fourth in the West off the back of these performances, and they're sitting pretty heading into the stretch. Single match tickets are already on sale for the 2026 MLS regular season at Lumen Field, and if you've been sleeping on these early matchups, now's the time to lock in your seats. The team is playing with real swagger right now, and there's nothing quite like experiencing a Sounders matchday in person when they're flying like this.
