Josh Naylor's Homer Ends Seattle's 8-Game Road Nightmare Against St. Louis

The Mariners finally broke through. After eight straight losses away from T-Mobile Park, Seattle clawed back with a 3-2 win over the Cardinals on Friday night, with Josh Naylor delivering the big moment when it mattered most. A solo shot from Naylor was the difference in a game that felt like it had to happen sooner or later.

The Road Trip From Hell Is Over

Eight games. Eight losses. That's a brutal stretch when you're trying to build momentum in April, and the Mariners were desperate to snap it. St. Louis came into this one looking to keep the pressure on, but Seattle had other ideas. Naylor stepped up and proved why he's a guy you can count on when the lineup needs a spark. One swing, one homer, and suddenly the trip wasn't a complete disaster.

Back Home Is Where It Starts

The Mariners head back to familiar territory after this road trip that tested their early-season resolve. Winning on the road in April sets a tone, especially after the kind of skid they just endured. If this team is going to compete, they need to find ways to win games like this one. Naylor's moment on Friday is exactly the kind of breakthrough that stops the bleeding and gets everybody back on track.

Up next, it's time to bring this momentum back to Seattle and keep rolling. The Cardinals series isn't over yet, and the Mariners have a chance to prove that Friday's win was the start of something better, not just a one-off victory before heading back into the grind.
