The Seattle Seahawks have one of the best traditions in football at home games. Before every single game, the Seahawks bring a celebrity, or a Seattle legend to raise the 12 Flag at the top of the stadium.
For those that are wondering what the 12 Flag means:
Seahawks President Mike McCormack retired the number 12 jersey in 1984. Seattle Seahawks fans are known to be one of the loudest crowds in the NFL, giving the Seahawks home field advantage during games. Therefore, the Seahawks Ownership raises the #12 Flag to pay tribute to the fans as the 12th Man on the field.
We are finally at Week 1 of NFL football and the Seahawks open vs. the Denver Broncos. They brought in LEGENDARY safety Kam Chancellor to raise the flag today. This is going to get the crowd going!
