KHL's Third-Best Goal-Scorer Just Signed With Nashville, and He's Only 24

The Nashville Predators just added some serious firepower from overseas. Forward Vitali Pinchuk, a three-time KHL All-Star who finished third in the KHL in goals this past season, has signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Predators for the 2026-27 season. General Manager Barry Trotz announced the move Monday.

Who Is Pinchuk and What Did He Just Do?

Pinchuk, 24, is a Belarusian forward from Zhlobin who just wrapped up an elite season with Dinamo Minsk in the KHL. We're talking 31 goals and 66 points in the 2025-26 campaign, both career highs for the young scorer. He ranked among the top 10 KHL skaters in points per game during his fourth full season in the league, which tells you everything you need to know about his consistency and playmaking ability.

The guy was so good that he made the KHL All-Star team three times. And in the playoffs? Pinchuk helped push Minsk all the way to the second round, proving he shows up when it matters.

What This Means for the Preds Moving Forward

Nashville is bringing in a scorer who just had the most productive season of his career. Pinchuk's combination of goal-scoring prowess, elite playmaking, and consistent performance in a top-tier league gives the Predators a young talent with legitimate upside. At 24 years old, he's entering his prime and joining an organization that clearly sees potential in his ability to contribute at the NHL level.

This is the kind of low-risk, high-upside signing that could pay dividends if Pinchuk makes a smooth transition to North American hockey.
