Kraken vs. Avalanche Tonight at 8: Your Game Thread is Live

The Seattle Kraken are heading to Ball Arena to take on the Colorado Avalanche tonight at 8:00 p.m., and this one has some extra juice. It's fan appreciation night in Denver, which means the Avs will be fired up in front of their home crowd for what amounts to a heavyweight matchup late in the season.

What's at Stake

This is game 82 territory, folks. The regular season is winding down and every point matters. The Avalanche are coming off a strong stretch, including a 2-1 shootout win over Edmonton and a beat down of Calgary where Martin Necas hit 100 points on the year. They've been rolling, and they're not about to ease up at home with their fans in the house.

The Kraken need to bring their A-game against a team that's been playing some serious hockey down the stretch. Seattle's got the talent to compete with anyone on any given night, but Denver's got momentum and home ice advantage working in their favor.

Get Your Lineup Ready

The Kraken will be rolling with the usual suspects. You've got Jordan Eberle as the captain, with Matty Beniers, Jared McCann, and Chandler Stephenson leading the way up front. Berkly Catton and Kaapo Kakko bring some extra scoring punch. On the blue line, Adam Larsson, Vince Dunn, and Brandon Montour will need to lock things down. Joey Daccord gets the net.

This is a chance for Seattle to prove they can hang with the best teams in the league. Puck drop is at 8:00 p.m. Get in the thread, watch with your Kraken family, and let's see what happens.
