LeBron and the Lakers Got Absolutely Torched by Houston and Now Game 5 Looms

The Lakers came into Game 4 riding high after taking the first three games of this series, but the Rockets had other plans. Houston absolutely dominated on Sunday, blowing out Los Angeles 115-96 and keeping their season alive. LeBron James and company couldn't get anything going offensively, and now this thing is getting interesting real quick.

The Rockets Came to Play

Houston wasn't messing around. They scored 30 points in the second quarter alone, built momentum throughout, and never let up. The Lakers' offense was stagnant all game, and the Rockets capitalized on every opportunity. This wasn't some close affair that came down to the wire. It was a straight-up domination, the kind of performance that tells you a team isn't going down without a fight.

LA's Missing Pieces Made It Worse

The Lakers were already dealing with some serious roster issues heading into Game 4. Kevin Durant was out with a bone bruise, and Austin Reaves also didn't suit up. When you're missing that kind of firepower and your main guy isn't playing well? Yeah, you're going to get embarrassed on the road. LeBron and the rest of the available squad just couldn't generate enough offense to stay competitive.

Back to LA for Game 5

The series is now 3-1 in favor of the Lakers, but Houston just sent a message. They're not rolling over, and Los Angeles can't afford to take their foot off the gas. Game 5 is coming up, and you better believe the Rockets will be ready to push back again. The Lakers need to get healthy, get their offense clicking, and close this thing out before Houston makes this a real series.
