The Knicks Are One Win From History and Nobody in the Emerald City Is Ready For It

Okay, Seattle, hold onto your hats because the NBA playoffs are absolutely wild right now, and what the New York Knicks just pulled off? Man, it's straight-up shocking. Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges led a charge that has New York one single win away from sweeping the East Finals and punching their ticket to the championship round. One. Win. This is huge, especially since it's the first time they've been this close in 27 years. Can you even imagine that kind of drought?

Knicks Are Rolling With a 10-Game Winning Streak

Seriously, what are the Knicks even doing? They are on an absolute tear, hitting a ridiculous 10-game winning streak in the playoffs. In Game 3 against the Cavaliers, they kept that pressure on, and it paid off big time. Brunson dropped a phenomenal 30 points, just completely owning the court. And Mikal Bridges? He was red-hot with 22 points. They just kept rolling, and you gotta wonder if anyone can stop them. Even Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were courtside for Game 3, which just tells you how much hype is around this New York squad right now. The pressure is on Cleveland to respond, but man, the Knicks look unstoppable.

Wemby Responds, SGA Crowned MVP

Meanwhile, out West, things are a whole different kind of crazy. The Spurs and Thunder series is now tied up at 2-2 after San Antonio grabbed a commanding Game 4 victory, 103-82. And guess who led the charge? Victor Wembanyama, of course! The dude responded big time, dropping 33 points and even sinking the longest shot of his entire career in that game. It's a reminder of why everyone's buzzing about him. Speaking of incredible talent, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was just named Kia MVP for the second straight season. Can you believe that? Two years in a row! Both SGA and Wembanyama were also named to the 2025-26 Kia All-NBA First Team, alongside Cade Cunningham, Luka Dončić, and Nikola Jokić. Plus, Wemby and Chet Holmgren were picked for the Kia All-Defensive Teams. The individual talent in this league is just insane right now. So, what's next? Can the Knicks close out the East Finals and end that 27-year championship round drought? You know the entire league is watching to see if they can finish the job. And in the West, with the series tied 2-2, the Thunder gotta figure out how to cool off Wembanyama. It's an absolute must-win situation for both teams moving forward. Get ready, 12s, because these playoffs are far from over!
