Odell Beckham Jr. Worked Out for the Giants and the Draft Class Just Got More Interesting

Here's what we know: Odell Beckham Jr. took the field for a Giants workout, and it's one of those moves that reminds you the NFL offseason is its own kind of circus. We're three days out from the draft, teams are still making moves, and the Giants are apparently still kicking the tires on veteran talent even as the draft machine cranks up.

OBJ Is Still Looking for a Fit

The Giants brought in Beckham to work out, which tells you something about where his market is at this late stage of the offseason. It's not a signing, not yet anyway. It's a look. A test drive. The kind of thing teams do when they're trying to figure out if there's any gas left in the tank before they move on to the draft and new blood.

For a receiver like Beckham, who has been through it all in this league, a workout with a big-market team like New York is exactly the kind of opportunity that makes sense. The Giants are in the business of evaluating talent, and they're doing it right up until draft day kicks off.

The Draft Is Three Days Away, and This Is Just the Beginning

This is the chaos of the offseason in full swing. Teams are still negotiating contracts, still bringing in players to look at, still trying to build their rosters before the 2026 draft officially starts. The Giants' willingness to bring in a veteran receiver like Beckham suggests they're leaving no stone unturned, even with the draft on the immediate horizon.

It's the kind of thing that gets lost in the noise of mock drafts and trade speculation, but it matters. Every workout, every visit, every deal signed in these final days shapes what happens when the draft begins.

Keep your eyes on whether this becomes something more than a workout, or if Beckham is headed elsewhere as teams prepare for what could be a wild few days in the draft.
