Pastrnak Dekes and Delivers: Bruins Steal Game 5 in Overtime Drama

David Pastrnak just ended Buffalo's night with one silky move. The Bruins winger took the puck to the net, deked the goalie clean, and tucked it home in overtime to extend Boston's series with a Game 5 victory. That's the kind of moment that gets replayed all week, and for good reason: this is playoff hockey at its sharpest.

One Shift. One Deke. Series Stays Alive.

Pastrnak didn't need much. He saw his opening, made the goalie commit, and finished with ice in his veins. That's overtime hockey. One sequence decides everything. One player's instinct and touch ends it. The Bruins needed this win to push forward, and Pastrnak delivered exactly when it mattered most.

The Stanley Cup Gauntlet Rolls On

This is what the 2026 playoffs look like. Every game is a dogfight. Theodore and Eichel connected for Vegas in their own overtime thriller against Utah. Poehling forced Anaheim deeper into their series with an OT winner against Edmonton. Hagel did the heavy lifting for Tampa Bay in Montreal, tallying both the game-tying and go-ahead goals. The league's best are leaving everything on the ice right now.

That's the story of this playoff run: tight margins, explosive moments, and players showing up when their team needs them most. Pastrnak showed up tonight. Now the Bruins get to keep fighting.
