In 2022, Nwosu recorded a career-high 9.5 sacks with 12 tackles for loss and 26 quarterback hits — all career highs. He was a big piece for the Seahawks defense after they brought him in form the Chargers.
Seattle and linebacker Uchenna Nwosu agreed to a three-year contract extension worth up to $59 million, which includes $32 million guaranteed and a base value of $45 million after the great 2022 season he had.
After signing the contract, Nwosu was only able to play SIX games in 2023, before his season-ending injury, and this year he has played only 20 snaps and is out again on the IR. Thankfully, this injury is not considered season-ending.
