Rob Refsnyder's Blast Lifts Mariners Past Cardinals, Seattle Stays Hot

Rob Refsnyder went deep and that was all the Mariners needed on Saturday. Seattle takes down St. Louis with a clutch hit, moving the bats in the early going and showing the kind of lineup production that's going to matter down the stretch.

Refsnyder Delivers When It Counts

This is the kind of win that sticks with you. Refsnyder's blast proved to be the difference in a 3-2 final at Busch Stadium, and it's the kind of moment that defines April and sets the tone for what's ahead. The Mariners got the run support they needed and executed when it mattered most. Not flashy, not overwhelming, but effective.

Early Season Momentum Building

Two games into the stretch, the Mariners are proving they can win tight ballgames on the road. That's a recipe for success as the season moves forward. The Cardinals put up a fight, but Seattle's bats showed up when it counted most. This is the kind of win you circle on the calendar because it proves your team can grind it out in a tough place.

The Mariners head back to T-Mobile Park with some real confidence building. Early season baseball is about establishing who you are as a team, and so far, Seattle looks like a group that knows how to win close games. Next up at home, the focus stays on that same formula: solid pitching, timely hitting, and execution in the clutch.
