Seattle Mariners Are Right Back In The MLB Playoff Race

Welcome to the roller coaster ride called the Seattle Mariners. If you are a Mariners fan, you already know this is just classic. Early in the year the Mariners had a 10-game lead in the AL West over the Houston Astros, they blew it. They later went on an awful run where they lost multiple games to the Angels and Athletics, and we all thought the season was over. 

Well, in classic Mariners-form, they have somehow found their way back into the playoff race. It's not perfect, it's not pretty, but they are actually in it. 

The Seattle Mariners are sitting at 73-71.

4.5 games back in the AL West & 3.0 games back in the AL Wild Card.

Next NINE Games:

• 2 v. San Diego Padres (81-64)
• 4 v. Texas Rangers (70-74)
• 3 v. New York Yankees (83-61)

It's not the easiest schedule coming up, after these they still face the Texas Rangers again, and the Houston Astros. The Astros series could be a series to see who wins the AL West.

Right now the hope is that the Mariners can find a way to win a lot of these upcoming games, it needs to be special, something in the range of winning eight out of ten. It's going to be hard, but it's not impossible. 

It's that time of the year, you need to do everything right, and truly just hope for teams ahead of you to collapse... That is the situation the Seattle Mariners are in...
