Seattle Seahawks have one of the youngest rosters in the NFL

The Seattle Seahawks are one of the rising teams in the NFL right now, they sit at 5-2 and in 1st place in the NFC West. While thats already good news in itself, there is even better news for the future of the franchise. The Seahawks are one of the youngest teams in the NFL. Let's break it down.

Snap-weighted age through Week 8:

Five oldest teams: Commanders, Steelers, Vikings, Broncos, Rams

Five youngest teams: Packers, Jets, Seahawks, Cowboys, Eagles

This is even more exciting to be snap-weighted, which means it's all about the players that are actually playing on the field.

Seahawks average age on offense is 25.7 which is 31st in the NFL, and the defense is 27.0 which is 18th

In total, the Seahawks are the 3rd youngest team in total by average age of snaps in the NFL, the only teams younger are the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers.

There is also this:

The Seahawks only have SEVEN (7) total players on the roster that are 30 or older, which is 27th in the NFL, there are only 5 teams that have less.

This team is young, really good, and only getting better.
