You never wanted to see your team having to figure out last-minute fixes to the offensive line, but the Seattle Seahawks are at that point once again. It seems to be an issues the Seahawks deal with every single year, injuries to the line.
This year, this already brought back former Seahawks OL, George Fant, to take th spot of Abraham Lucas who might be out for another 4-5 weeks. Unfortunately, Fant is also on the IR now, and the Seahawks might need to turn to Jason Peters.
Jason Peters was also an emergency option for the Seahawks last year, he ended up playing 8 games for the Seahawks.
If you were wondering how a 42 year-old Jason Peter might do on the Seahawks...

PFF grades were EXTREMELY up and down last year. He is not good anymore, but sometimes has some okay games.
Clearly, this just means they are really worried about Fant and Lucas injuries right now. pic.twitter.com/5ns6n2d26O
According to ESPN insider Field Yates, the Seahawks hosted 42-year old tackle Jason Peters for a free agent visit and workout on Tuesday. The ageless wonder played in eight games for Seattle last season, including a pair of starts at right tackle while Lucas was on injured reserve.
OT Jason Peters is 42-years old. There must be some serious serious concern about the offensive line and the injuries inside the Seahawks building.

They need the depth, even if it's not the best option in the world. https://t.co/nBaDVC51cP pic.twitter.com/hn1rOjOsFe
Clearly, it was a very up-and-down year for Peters last year, and it won't be an immediate fix for this line... But, he know the team, he knows a lot of the players, and might be able to fill a small gap in the meantime until the line gets healthy.
Peters joined the Seahawks last season when they were dealing with injuries to tackles Abraham Lucas and Charles Cross. Lucas is currently on the physically unable to perform list and the team put George Fant on injured reserve this month, so they’re thinner than they’d like on the offensive line at the moment.
Peters has played 248 regular season games overall, which is good for 59th in NFL history and he’d move into the Top 40 if he plays in at least 12 more this season.
