Seattle Seahawks Thursday Injury Report: RB Kenneth Walker Is Still Not Practicing

The Seattle Seahawks are set to play their first road game of the season against the New England Patriots on Sunday at 10am PST. It's clearly early in the year, but a 2-0 start would be a special way to start the new era under Mike Macdonald.

The Thursday practice injury injury came out, and Seahawks fans are getting worried that some key players will not be able to play on Sunday. First off, RB Kenneth Walker III, who had a stellar performance Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.

Walker was a huge reason the Seahawks stayed in the game while the rest of the offense was struggling. He was listed OUT again during Thursday's practice with his Oblique injury. There hasn't been many other updates, but it's not looking great if he hasn't practiced the entire week leading into Friday.

Another issue the Seahawks faced last weekend was a struggling offensive line, specifically on the right side of the line. The Seahawks were already without starting right tackle Abraham Lucas, but thankfully they knew this coming into the season and brought in George Fant for this reason.

Well, he got hurt in Week 1 and the Seahawks had to roll with 3rd string RT Stone Forsythe. George Fant was also listed OUT on Thursday and has not practiced this week.

The Seahawks have been quiet about Walker and Fant, and have given minimal updates, stating they are 'day-to-day,' but it doesn't look good for both to play this Sunday at this point.

Only two other players did not practice Thursday, linebacker Uchenna Nwosu, but he was already ruled out on Sunday and that was expected. The fourth player to not practice was TE Pharaoh Brown, who has a foot injury, and he is also not likely to play unless there is an unexpected quick recovery over the weekend.

Hopefully the Seahawks can get Walker and Fant, the two most important pieces we are keeping our eyes on, but we have to wait and see what the Seahawks will announce.
