Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Drops 31 and the Thunder Just Ended Phoenix in Four Straight

The Oklahoma City Thunder are moving on, and they did it in the most dominant way possible. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander went off for 31 points and 8 assists as OKC finished a sweep of the Phoenix Suns with a 131-122 victory in Game 4. No drama, no Game 5, no second chances. Just pure execution when it mattered most.

SGA Took Over When It Counted

This is playoff basketball at its finest. Gilgeous-Alexander's 31 points and 8 dimes weren't flashy stats on a stat sheet somewhere. They were the direct reason the Thunder are still playing and the Suns are heading home early. The guy controlled the tempo, made the right reads, and got buckets when Phoenix needed stops. That's superstar-level performance in a clincher, and everybody watching knew it.

A Sweep is a Statement

Four games. That's all it took. No comebacks, no drama series, no "Suns are back" narratives. OKC walked into Phoenix and methodically dismantled them at home in the series clincher. When a team sweeps you in the first round like this, it sends a message to the rest of the conference. The Thunder aren't just making noise. They're the real deal.

Oklahoma City advances deeper into the playoffs while the Suns have to regroup and figure out what went wrong against a juggernaut. For the Thunder, it's another step forward in what's shaping up to be a special postseason run.
