Shea Theodore Ties It Up in OT and Vegas Is Suddenly Level in This Series

Vegas Golden Knights are back in this thing. Shea Theodore buried one with 52 seconds left in overtime on Monday night in Salt Lake City, lifting the Knights to a 5-4 win over the Utah Mammoth in Game 4 of their first-round Western Conference playoff series. The series is tied 2-2 now, and that's a completely different conversation than it was before puck drop.

Theodore Delivers When It Matters Most

Theodore's OT heroics in Game 4 are exactly the kind of moment that swings a best-of-seven series. You're in Salt Lake City, Utah's got the crowd, and suddenly Vegas steals one in overtime. That's the kind of win that gets talked about in the locker room, that builds momentum heading into Game 5. When you're down in a series, you need your defense to step up, and Theodore answered the bell.

The Series Reset

Before Game 4, Utah had control of this matchup. Now it's completely wide open. Both teams have two wins, both teams are heading forward knowing either one could take it. These first-round matchups are brutal because every single game feels like everything, and when you're tied up at this point, suddenly the whole dynamic shifts. Vegas just proved they're not going anywhere quietly.

Next game will tell us a lot about where this series is headed. The Knights are still alive and fighting, and that's all they needed out of Game 4.
