Sounders Head to Kansas City For Kids Day Showdown at Sporting Park

The Seattle Sounders are rolling into Sporting Park on Saturday for a nationally televised matchup against Sporting Kansas City. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. CT, and you can catch all the action on Apple TV, FOX, and FOX Deportes. This is the kind of fixture that matters in the MLS calendar, and the Sounders will be ready to make some noise in the Soccer Capital of America.

Family Vibes at the Park

Sporting KC is turning this weekend into a full family event with Kids Day on Saturday afternoon. If you're bringing the crew out, there's special pre-match activities, live music, and all the energy that comes with a big MLS matchup. Fans in the family-friendly South Stand will get a Sporting KC x Snoopy bucket hat with their ticket, making it a perfect afternoon for the youngest fans in green and blue.

If you're looking to catch the game without breaking the bank, the Coca-Cola Family and Friends 4-Pack is a solid deal. For $25 per ticket, you get four South Stand seats, four 20-oz Coca-Cola products of your choice, and four concession items. That's the kind of value that makes a weekend trip to Kansas City feel doable for families.

Big Stage, Prime Time

The Sounders aren't playing some mid-week tune-up here. This game is getting the full national treatment with FOX and FOX Deportes both broadcasting, meaning eyes from across the country will be on Sporting Park. For Seattle, these kinds of nationally televised contests early in the season are the ones that set the tone for how the rest of the year goes.

The Sounders will be heading into Kansas City ready to compete. Every match matters in MLS, and a win on the road in prime time? That's the kind of result that sticks with a team as the season rolls on. Kickoff Saturday at 1:30 p.m. CT. This one is not to miss.
