The Chiefs Dropped Their Calendar, And One August Date Just Put The Entire NFL On Notice About Our Hawks

Alright, 12s, did you see the news today? The Kansas City Chiefs, yeah, *those* Chiefs, just spilled the beans on their 2026 training camp schedule, and honestly, who cares about all the fine print for *their* team? Because buried in all those dates is one absolute bombshell for us here in the Emerald City: our Seattle Seahawks are heading to Missouri on August 28 to close out the Chiefs' preseason schedule! Get hyped, because this isn't just another game, this is a statement.

The Showdown is Set: Seahawks vs. Chiefs on August 28!

Forget all the nitty-gritty about the Chiefs heading to Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph's for the 16th time, or their camp kicking off on July 24. Who cares when their season ticket holders get to see a practice on July 29 and August 11, or when their general fans can show up on July 30-31, August 1, August 3-7, August 10, August 12-13, and August 17-20 for autographs? What *actually* matters is August 28. That's the day our boys, led by Coach Mike Macdonald, roll into town to face off against the reigning champs on their home turf. This is their final preseason tune-up, which means we're going to see a serious look at what the Hawks are bringing to the table before the regular season even kicks off.

Why This Preseason Clash Matters for Our Squad

Think about it. The Chiefs play their first preseason game at home against the Rams on August 15, then they're down in Tampa on August 22. But then, it's us. Our Hawks. Closing out their preseason. This is a massive opportunity for guys like Sam Darnold to dial in the offense with playmakers Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and Cooper Kupp. It's a chance for Offensive Coordinator Brian Fleury to really test out schemes against a top-tier opponent. This isn't just a scrimmage, it's a full-on dress rehearsal under the lights against a team that knows how to win. We need to see that fire, that intensity, that relentless drive from every single player out there.

Get Ready, Seattle!

This August 28 game is going to be our first real measuring stick of the year. While the rest of the league is still figuring things out, our Hawks get to go toe-to-toe with one of the best before the games even count. What's at stake? Pride, momentum, and the chance to show everyone exactly why Seattle is a force to be reckoned with this season. Start circling that date on your calendars, 12s, because when our boys hit the field against the Chiefs, the whole league is going to be watching what our Hawks are building. Let's go!
