The Knicks Just Made NBA History and Nobody in New York Is Coming Back Down

The Knicks did something that has literally never happened before in NBA playoff history. They just won three straight playoff games by 25 or more points. Three. Straight. Blowouts. This isn't some moral victory or a "we played well" kind of thing either. This is absolute dominance, and it's the first time any team in the history of the league has pulled this off in the postseason.

Playoff Basketball at Its Most Dangerous

When the games actually tip off, the Knicks are playing some of the most beautiful basketball you'll see. Playoff Brunson is fully locked in. KAT is dropping dimes all over the floor. Bridges has rediscovered how to get buckets. Josh Hart is doing all those little Josh Hart things that somehow make him absolutely critical to winning. And then there's OG, who might just be evolving into Kawhi 2.0 right in front of everybody's eyes. That's the kind of depth and firepower that turns a series into a coronation instead of a contest.

Media talking heads on Twitter have spent weeks explaining exactly how the Knicks are going to lose. But here's the thing: once tipoff happens, none of that noise matters. The basketball speaks for itself. Getting to write recaps in the fourth quarter because the opponent's backup guys are just running out the clock with a 30 point cushion? That beats sweating through your shirt while a new MSG villain nearly erases the lead.

This Is What Peak Performance Looks Like

The shift in vibe is real. In Game 1, the Prince of The Garden showed up because his girl was doing her thing at the Met Gala while he was courtside watching the Knicks handle business. That's the kind of energy you get when a team is playing like this.

For Knicks fans, this is the moment to soak in. Three straight 25 point playoff wins. Never done before. Ever. That's history, and it's happening right now at Madison Square Garden.
