The Seattle Seahawks are one step closer to the regular season. Yesterday, the team announced their initial 53-man roster. Today, roughly 24 hours after the team cut down to 53 players, they announced their practice squad. In all, the Seahawks have signed 15 players so far to the practice squad. Usually, a team is allowed 16 players, but the Seahawks are a unique situation and can have 17 because teams are allowed one more player if they have an international player and the Seahawks have tackle Max Pircher, who is from Italy. Here is the team's practice squad.

Couple of key notes to keep in mind here for players on the practice squad:
LB Michael Barrett- Barrett was acquired last week in a trade with the Carolina Panthers. The rookie from Michigan was a 7th round pick and played under head coach Mike MacDonald in 2021 when MacDonald was a defensive coordinator for the Wolverines.
Artie Burns and Marquis Blair- These familiar faces have been part of the Seahawks in the past and will stay part of the Seahawks but this time on the practice squad.
Easop Winston Jr.- Winston a Washington State Cougar, remains on the Seahawks practice squad. He showed some flashes this pre-season, including a touchdown catch.
